Hi Stephen! Thanks for engaging with this article, I appreciate you taking the time to read it. Do you mind explaining how anything I am specifically doing is making a mockery of communion? Mockery is definitely not my intent. I am truly coming to this conversation seeking with an open heart how to best understand this sacrament.
To me, you are coming across a little vitriolic, which I am sure is not your intention. I do not doubt that you are speaking from a place of passion, and that you are wanting me to speak properly about something very dear to you. And I assure you the sacrament is very much dear to me. I would love to check out that article you linked and attempt to understand the Roman Catholic position on this sacrament a bit better.
Because you can't have communion without sacrifice and you can't have sacrifice without the elements being transformed and the elements cannot be transformed nor sacrifice offered without priests. So your playing with bread and wine(or grape juice?) and pretending it's communion as Christ intended. It's not, He wishes to feed us His Flesh and Blood John 6:55-56. What you're doing is a mockery of that. Please stop.
if you visited this post you will see the inventors of protestant "communion" speak of Holy Mass in a much more vitriolic tone than anything I wrote here. My goal was to plainly warn you. and speak directly and honestly. I was once protestant, and was never warned by catholics about what protestant communion is. If I pretend to respect what you are doing, I would be decieving you. But I did not write to disrespect you nor question your good intentions.
what you are doing with communion is a mockerly of true communion in Christ´s Church and the Most Holy Eucharist: https://sanctistulti.substack.com/p/against-the-reformers-on-the-mass

This also explains the difference between the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and protestant communion very clearly.
